Ideation

I’m fascinated by ideas. An idea is a concept, a connection, the best explanation of most events.

I look under the complex surface for an elegantly simple concept to explain why things are the way they are.

Intellect

I like to think. I enjoy the mental activity. I love exercising the “muscles” of my brain, stretching them in multiple directions. Give me a gnarly problem and some ambiguity and I’m in my element.

Context

I look back because that’s often where the answers lie. I do this to understand the present. From my vantage point the present is unstable, a confusing clamour of competing voices. I try to use that noise to find the signal.
